Factory fabrication and sources from sustainable sources allows to minimise waste and keep costs down. We look to keep our customers running costs to a minimum too with insulation levels (u-values) equivalent or better than current new housing requirements.

		Adjustable reinforced foundation system The Swift Plinth foundation affords the least disruption to your garden and is quick to install too. The system not only uses 95% less concrete than a raft but is reusable too. With each plinth being individually adjustable it is the perfect partner for either a flat or sloping locations. Being "off the ground" enables airflow to be maintained as well as avoiding any contact between structure and the ground.

		Structure Structurally Insulated Panel System (SIPS) for both walls, roof and when appropriate the floor are constructed from sustainable and recycled materials in a factory environment which means wastage is kept to a minimum. They provide a truly airtight envelope and consequently a 365-day a year opportunity with achievable insulation levels far greater than current building regulations require. If the wall is thick enough we can build houses requiring no heating at all. It is a construction technique that has been around for decades and is now delivering to the house building industry. Our standard wall sections are 154mm thick.

		EPDM roof A space age product – a 20-year manufacturer’s guarantee with a 50-year life expectancy. A product that contributes to our philosophy of maintenance free. Firestone Rubbercover roofing system is considered the market leader. Its EPDM is a single membrane that is “glued” to the roof structure. Being a single sheet avoids the usual pitfalls that joins raise.

		Western Red Cedar Cladding Western Red Cedar cladding like all our wood clad is sourced from FSC managed forests. It is naturally resistant to moisture, decay and insect damage and ages naturally as oak turning silver if left to its own devices. It is an ideal companion to nature’s own as the building naturally blends into the garden amongst the trees, hedges and plants.

		Aluminium joinery Aluminium is the world’s most abundant metal and is 100% recyclable too. So it is perfect to use for our windows and doors. The joinery is powder coated and can be any colour you like just about. Tell us the pantone.

		Energy Efficient Glazing Glazing units are double glazed and smart being argon filled and coated with a heat reflective coating. So retaining heat in the winter and reflecting heat in the summer and therefore assisting in the regulation of a comfortable internal temperature.

		Energy efficient lighting LED lighting delivers light from they energy use. So instead of creating heat it creates light. Simple. A very environmentally friendly solution.

		Fully plastered and decorated interior We want your garden room to be as comfortable as your home so we plaster and decorate.

		Security Keeping your building secure and protected is achieved using insurance policy compliant locks.
