| We are here to help. |
| Hopefully this website will provide you with much of what you need but if not please drop us a line or give us a bell. If you do call for information they’ll be no sales patter attached. |
| If you wish to take things a little further we have our “arms length” Web Survey where with a few measurements about your garden and a few photographs we can prepare a few sketches, designs and provide an estimate. |
| If the "web survey" helps firm up your plans we can of course come around for a Home Consultation - show you our full portfolio and chat through your plans and dreams in your own back garden. |
| Of course if you would like us to come around without the Web Survey no problem. |
| The navigation box left will allow you to walk the path we follow. |
| If you have any Service questions click Ask a Question and we will come back to you within 24 hours. |
| We provide a free, no obligation home consultation where one of our team will visit you at your home to discuss your requirements - what you want to use the space for, where the building would be best situated in your garden, and what your options are within planning constraints and in line with your budget. |
| We are here to help you to create the perfect Garden Room. |
| Based on our discussions, we can advise the best layout and position of your Garden Room and where the services such as electrics can be routed from your main house to the Room. |
| During our home consultation we also take photos and survey the access to the garden, how we will be able to make deliveries, how waste will be taken off site, etc. This ensures that should you go ahead, our construction will be as smooth as possible, causing least disruption for you and your neighbours. |
| We usually sketch out some ideas with you at this meeting, we then take these back to the office and our architect will create a design for you. |
| Garden Living are passionate about design. |
| We have an architect as part of the Garden Living team who will turn your ideas into a beautiful garden room perfect for your needs- whether that be an Home Office, Gym, Playroom or Artists Studio! |
| This service is also free and will provide you with CAD drawings of your garden room situated in your garden, floor plans and a quote that includes a full cost breakdown. |
| Our garden rooms are cheaper than an extension, loft conversion or moving home so are a good way to add that extra space you need. And because our rooms are built to the same quality and regulations as new build housing they provide high insulation qualities with low heating costs - making them genuinely usable spaces 365 days a year. |
| Once you see your quote, if you don’t want to go ahead that absolutely fine – we will not bother you again (we are not into hard selling)! But if you do want to proceed we can guarantee you will end up with a garden building that you will love. |
| Most of our buildings do not require planning permission and are constructed under 'permitted development'. |
| Permitted development guidelines were relaxed from 1st October 2008. Garden rooms fall under ‘Outbuildings’ for planning purposes. For a full explanation of the current rules please follow the link: |
| http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/permission/house |
| We provide a free advisory service around whether you will need planning. If you do require planning we can provide a full liaison service with your local planning officer including CAD drawings of the proposed Garden Room, completion of the planning application forms and dealing with the local authority on your behalf. |

| In most circumstances building regulations do not apply. |
| However, when they do, for example when building a habitable space such as a Granny Annex, we manage the entire process from end to end. |
| One of our project managers or our architect will take responsibility from completing the necessary forms to meeting the building inspector on site. Always keeping you in the loop. |
| It is all part of the service of providing a truly hassle free experience. |
| Project management does not start only on site but from the moment you decide you would like a Garden Living garden room. Our project manager will then be your key contact to project end. |
| They will also be first contact with the factory and suppliers to ensure products and materials are scheduled to reach your home as expected and on time. |
| Once on site the Project Manager is responsible for delivery and has responsibility for the installation team as well as the happy task of handing you the keys. |
| We have professional installation teams who work for Garden Living. They arrive on time, are courteous, treat your home and garden with respect, keep materials tidy, clean up at the end of each day, and ensure constant communication with you to make sure you are informed and happy with progress. |
| A typical installation takes two working weeks: |
Day 1 - Foundations
Day 4 - Start of installation
Day 5 - Watertight and wired
Day 8 - Flooring and rubbish removal |
| The installation is quick and does not involve coming into your home - so you have no mess and no stress associated with an extension or conversion. |
| Customer service is vital to our business. |
| Not just the ethics of treating people as we would expect to be treated ourselves but for the simple truth that our customers are our primary source of business. Through word of mouth recommendations. |
| So customer service is the foundation on which we build – high quality product, project management, attentive and courteous tradesmen, kept promises. If anything is not as it should be we take care of it very quickly. |

| Or the DIY Home Consultation! |
| The thinking behind this idea was to enable customers to tailor a garden room to their garden without the need to take up their valuable spare time. To provide food for thought as conveniently as possible. |
| Garden Living thought with a few facts, images and a phone chat about your plans we could have a good stab at preparing a garden room that would work for you. |
| All prepared remotely |
| Not only would we be able to provide an image of your garden room with a detailed specification but also a tight estimate of cost. Allowing our customers the genuine opportunity to evaluate “their garden room”, to discuss furniture configurations or how its use would change as the family grew. |
| Then of course if you need changes to design - not a problem - just let us know. |
